Thank you so much to all who contributed cakes and bakes, and to all who ate them and so kindly donated. A record £2,314 was raised for this fantastic charity.
Papplewick raised a whopping £2,314 this year for Macmillan Cancer Support, overtaking last year’s record! To put this into perspective, £2,314 could pay for 70 Macmillan nurses to spend an hour each helping people and their families living with cancer receive essential medical, practical and emotional support. Alternatively, it could contribute to 7 Macmillan Grants to help with the extra costs that living with cancer can bring.
