Anthony Seldon, Master of Wellington College, will be giving a talk to parents on Thursday 11th November at 8pm on 'The Changing Face of Senior Schools'
Anthony Seldon is Headmaster of Wellington College. He is also author or editor of over 25 books on contemporary history, politics and education. His recent publications include “Trust: How we lost it and how to get it back” (Oct 2009) and “An End To Factory Schools. An education manifesto 2010-2020” (Mar 2010). His latest book, “Brown at 10” will be published later this month to add to his previous biographies of John Major and Tony Blair.
At his talk, Anthony will concentrate in particular on how the curriculum and exams in schools have changed, and will also consider the impact of internationalism, government policy and the demand for greater diversity. Senior schools, he believes, will change more in the next ten years than they have in the last twenty five years. It will not be in any way a pitch for Wellington!
Drinks will be served in the Hall from 7.30pm with the talk scheduled to commence at 8pm.
