So if you can't face packing little Peregrine off to board at eight, he can start as a day boy and dabble with the odd night of flexi-boarding, building up to proper boarding in the summer term of Year 6 (everyone boards for the last two years in dorms decorated with spectacular murals of boys skiing, skateboarding, and playing polo). Head Tom Bunbury comes across as charmingly laidback, but a parent describes him as 'seriously dynamic' and they certainly do all the important stuff right: scholarships to Winchester, Harrow, Eton and Charterhouse and 100 per cent Common Entrance success.
